Comments: Also known as ESPRIT Project 2706, MICIM (Methodology for the Introduction of CIM). It was considered that the methodology for progressing towards an integrated manufacturing environment has largely been neglected, with most of the emphasis of current work being placed on the problems arising in technology. This project therefore concentrated on defining a methodology to remedy this.
