Since PERA is intended for Industrial and Enterprise Systems designers and users, the products presented here are those which would be used in the design, construction, operation or decommissioning of such facilities. Also, many product categories, such as games software, or consumer electronics, are not included (although industries to manufacture such products are within PERA's scope).
Both hardware and software products are included. Hardware and software are presented as separate categories, however in some cases, certain hardware devices are presented along with associated software (such as a Distributed Control System). Alternatively, software may be integrated with associated hardware (such as a predictive maintenance software package sold with an integrated vibration recorder).
