What is the difference between the PERA Model and the PERA Master Planning Methodology ?


The PERA Master Planning Methodology provides a structured way to plan:

It is used at the beginning of the enterprise, program or project, typically during the Study and Conceptual Engineering phases.

It may be repeated and/or renewed at various points during the enterprise life cycle, including during Operations Phase or when major revamps or additions are undertaken.

The relationship between the PERA Model and the Master Planning Methodology is shown in this diagram.

PERA Master Planning is used to supplement the PERA Model when analysis of many alternatives is required to establish the best scope for an enterprise. program or project.
